WILLIAM LALCHUN It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts, the family announces the passing of William Lalchun on Friday, April 3, 2015 at Tudor House Personal Care Home in Selkirk, MB, at the age of 90 years. William will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by all of his family and friends. He was a beloved and devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He leaves to mourn his one and only true love of 62 years, his wife Shirley (Breitenback); four wonderful children, Leslie, Gary (Audrey), Donna and Sandy (Bernie). His memory will also be cherished by his five grandchildren, Jennifer (Tom), Kandis (Darren), Kaylin (Mitch), Chad and Daniel; along with his four beautiful great-grandchildren, Thomas, Jesse, Gage and Maeve. William also leaves to mourn his brother Norman (Janet) and their children Dean and Dayna. William spent his entire career working at Western Asbestos (Antex Western). He started when he was 19, finally retiring at the age of 70. The family wishes to extend their sincere appreciation and thank you to all the nurses and caregivers who lovingly looked after William over the past four months. A private service will be held at the Gilbart Funeral Chapel at a later date. Donations in William's memory can be made to Tudor House Personal Care Home in Selkirk, MB.
