DALE ROBERT CARROTHERS September 12, 1967 April 8, 2015 It is with the deepest sorrow that we announce the tragic passing of Dale Carrothers, at the age of 47, following an automobile accident on April 6. Dale is survived by his close companion of several years, Tammy Young and his loving family: aunt Shelly Seys (Ken), uncle Brad (Diane) Ostrove; cousins: Devon (Ken) Buhler Joel (Olga) Seys, Ryan and Matthew Ostrove; and uncle Bob Seys. He was predeceased by parents, Cheryl Bibeau and Bob Carrothers and his grandparents, Helen and Abraham Ostrove. Dale was an adorable little boy with an infectious personality and as he grew into manhood he retained that youthful quality. Raised by a single mom, he was embraced and cared for by our entire family spending much time with his grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins. He was kind and gentle and was deeply loved by all of us. Dale spent most of his working life in sales and was currently employed by Würth Canada as a salesperson. Our family would like to thank the people who arrived prior to rescue crews and did all they could to help. Thank you to the first responders, Stonewall RCMP and Star Ambulance Service. We are sincerely grateful to the staff at Health Sciences Emergency and Intensive Care Units for their compassion, care and concern for Dale and our family. A memorial service celebrating Dale's life will be held on Tuesday, April 14, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in the Coutu Funeral Chapel, 680 Archibald Street. Flowers are gratefully declined, should friends so desire donations in Dale's memory may be made to The Winnipeg Humane Society. The Coutu Family in care of arrangements: E.J. COUTU & CO. Condolences & Memories (6 entries)

  • Dale and I went to school together and he was always one of my favorite people in school. I moved to Vancouver after High School so we lost touch over the years. Just this past week was in Winnipeg and heard of this tragic news. I am so saddened and send my sincere condolences to the family and Tammy. I just lost my uncle recently and it is so hard to imagine life without the people we love. Thinking of all of you. Dale was a super great guy. Always kind, always laughing. I know he will be missed by all those that knew him. Much love to you all. Sherry - Posted by: Sherry Cooper (High School Friend) on: Dec 05, 2015

  • I am deeply in shock .. Just hearing about your passing today, Oct 18th. I remember when we lived down the lane from each other, you on Armstrong as well as Kim Graham and I and Bruce Wildon on Cork Street. We had a ton of fun growing up and all the laughs we shared the 4 of us. You used to dress up in you're Mom's night coats and make us all laugh. Never forgot you .. Then re-connected on Facebook last year .. So nice to talk with you again and talk about old times and revealing about our childhood crush on each other. That was many many years ago in grade school. Rest in peace Dale ! Maybe see you in a "visit" !!! Now you will see my Dad again :-). You are now free to fly ! - Posted by: Brenda (Robertson) Meyer (Friend) on: Oct 18, 2015

  • To My Dear Dale. There are no word to express just how very much you are Loved, and will be missed more than any words can say! I am so thankful for the computer, as we kept in touch and shared so much from here. God Bless you Tammy as he spoke so highly of you, and Loved you so much. Now you are in heaven with your Mom and Dad, all 4 of your grandparents, all of your Aunts and Uncles, and cousins. I Love and miss you so much Dale. Rest in Peace Now. I will remember all the good times we had out on the farm, oh and dragging you to bingo, oh you would get so angry at your Mom and me, and then you won that $2000.00, and after that we had a hard time to keep you away. It was so funny. There is just to much to write about but we had a lot of laughs, and that is the memories I am going to hang onto. We Love You Dale. Auntie Connie, Terry, Bobby and Kim, and families. xoxoxoxoxoxo - Posted by: Connie Carrothers (Auntie) on: Apr 22, 2015
