JACOB I. DERKSEN October 3, 1940 - April 7, 2015 Jake Derksen passed away peacefully at Boundary Trails Health Centre at the age of 74. He is survived by his loving wife, Alvina (nee Dueck), his children, Murray (wife, Jackie, daughters, Jessie and Bailey), Randy (wife, Cori, children, Kierra and Lane) and Jocelyn (husband, Grant Wiebe, children, Hannah and Seth). He was predeceased by his parents, one sister in infancy and several brothers-in-law. Memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. at the Bergthaler Mennonite Church, 252 6th St. in Winkler with interment prior at 1:00 p.m. at Westridge Memorial Gardens. If friends so desire, donations may be made in Jake's memory to the Manitoba Lung Association, available at the church.
