A Memorial Service celebrating his life will be held on Monday, April 20, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at St. George's Anglican Church (168 Wilton Ave. at Grosvenor). I am so sorry to hear of Vern's death. He was such a generous and gracious host when my partner Judy and I would come for supper. He showed me how to drain the last drops of rum out of a bottle that looked empty. (You lay the empty bottle on its side and miraculously you get another few drops). I will especially remember how he enjoyed my two black labs. They loved him as well and would look forward to our brunches at our place. To Nancy, Rick and you families...what a proud dad you had.
