GEORGE P. BANMAN 1927 - 2015 On Thursday, April 16, 2015 at Boundary Trails Health Centre, George P Banman aged 87 years of Winkler, MB formerly of Kronsgart went to his eternal rest. He is survived by his loving wife, Margaret (nee Krahn), one daughter-in-law, Pamela, five grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren and one sister. He was predeceased by his daughter, Barbara in 1977 and his son, Gary in 2002 as well as five sisters and one brother. Viewing will be from 1:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. today at Wiebe Funeral Home, 121 8th St. in Winkler and at the church prior to the service. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 21, 2015 at the Grace Mennonite Church, 1350 Pembina Ave. in Winkler with interment at Winkler Cemetery. If friends so desire, donations may be made in George's memory to the Boundary Trails Health Centre Palliative Care Unit, available at the church. Thank you to Dr. Basson as well as the medical and palliative staff at Boundary Trails Health Centre for their compassionate care of George during his stay.
