Lots of good memories of Cornell at Stefanchuck's. He was a hardworker, and made it a great place to work. I missed him when he left there. - Posted by: George Gelhorn (Friend / co-worker) on: May 01, 2015

Cornell was unique, one of a kind. From neighbours on Willis Road through friends for life, Cornell was amazing. Nicest man, full of kindness and caring, he'd give you the shirt off his back and ask if you needed more. Our Thoughts and prayers to Cindy and the family and the entire Hoogervorst clan. Cornell will be sadly missed. - Posted by: Jim harriott (Friend) on: Apr 27, 2015

I will never forget the smash up derbies and nascar laps around the back of Lionel's wrecking yard. The cruises down main in the only caprice wagon with 3 inch exhaust, And knowing that if or when your family were to be stranded in -40 that he would be on his way. Cornell buddy, We are going to miss you BROTHER. May u rest in peace. The churas - Posted by: Russ chura (Buddy) on: Apr 26, 2015

I have known Cornell since our High School days and then during his time as an operator for Terry's Towing. He took his job seriously and was an expert in this field. I am so sorry to hear of his passing. I wish the Family and friends my prayers and thoughts during this difficult time. May you rest in peace Cornell. - Posted by: Nino Camara (friend) on: Apr 24, 2015

Cindy & Family, we are so sorry for your loss. Cornell was a great person with a great sense of humor & always a smile on his face. He always made you feel welcome no matter when you had last met. No one was ever a stranger. "The Snake" as we fondly called him, always took over the dance floor with his many lanky moves. He always loved a good song & dance. May you dance to your heart's content Cornell! Rest in Peace my friend for you are now free of pain. xxoo - Posted by: Bernice & Roy Okaluk (friend) on: Apr 24, 2015
