Bishop Ray was one of the most compassionate and pastoral bishops I have met or had the pleasure to work with. He was our liaison with Canadian Catholic Campus Ministry/Canadian Catholic Students' Association when I was National Coordinator/Chaplain. He not only was a tremendous support to our association but he was a personal friend and confidant. Indeed a holy and prayerful man! We all enjoyed his dry sense of humor at our Board meetings! - Posted by: Rick C Benson (Friend and Coworker) on: Apr 27, 2015

Bishop Ray Roussin was a simple man and a holy priest who drew many people to God by his warm and simple manner, his listening skills, his ability to create community and to support others on their life journey. My condolences and my prayers accompany his family, especially his sister Lucille Lang, and his religious community, the Marianists. May God embrace him with love and graciousness! - Posted by: Lorraine St-Hilaire SNJM (Bishop Raymond Roussin was Bishop of Gravelbourg during the three years when I was Religious Educati) on: Apr 26, 2015
