FLORENCE JEANSON (née ROCHON) On Thursday, April 23, 2015, our beloved mom, mémère and grand-mère, Florence Jeanson, aged 96, passed away peacefully at Ste-Anne Hospital. Mom was born March 10, 1919 in La Salle, Manitoba. She was the last surviving member of Aurèle Rochon and Albertine Lapointe. Left to mourn are her children: Rhéal (Rositha), Gisèle (late Gilbert), France (Claude), Irma (Barry), Jacques (Jacqueline). She will also be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren: Ginette (Pasquale), Michel, André, Paul (Janelle), Chantel, Kyle, Brigitte, Richard and Mélanie, great-grandchild, Matteo and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Grégoire in 1987, her sisters, Valentine, her twin Alida and twin sisters, Alberte and Lucia; her brothers, Aurélien, Maurice, Rosario and Ernest. After marrying Dad in 1944, Mom moved to Lorette where she spent most of her life. She loved spending time with her family and always made her house a welcoming place. At 92 years of age, she decided to move to Manoir de la Cathédrale in Saint-Boniface. Despite her age, we were very fortunate to enjoy her participation to the fullest. Maman avait beaucoup de talents qui comprenaient la cuisine surtout son bon pain, la couture, le jardinage, la charpenterie ainsi qu'aider pendant les battages à l'automme. Maman était une femme à tout faire. Elle avait une grande dévotion à la Sainte Vierge. Respecting Florence's wishes, cremation has taken place and a funeral mass celebrating her life will be held on Thursday, April 30, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. in Notre-Dame de Lorette Church, Lorette, Manitoba.
