JULIETTE ELIA LAVILLE 1912 - 2015 Juliette went home to her Lord and Saviour on February 17, 2015 with family by her side. She was born in Meyronne, Saskatchewan and dedicated 16 years of her early life to a career in teaching. She then entered the nursing profession, and devoted the next twenty years caring for the sick and assisting the at Misericordia Hospital in New York City, USA. She retired in 1978, returned to her beloved Canada in 1987 and settled in Sardis, BC until 2005 when she moved to the Villa Youville Nursing Home in Ste. Anne, MB to be closer to her sister Cécile George and her nieces and nephews. According to her wishes a private celebration of her life was held on Saturday, April 18, 2015 officiated by Father Gabriel Levesque. Her cremated remains will be interred in Regina, Saskatchewan at a later date next to several family members. The family wishes to thank all the caring staff at Villa Youville for their care and compassion especially Sisters Rioux, Forêt and Vermette and Doctor Lemoine for their assistance during the last 10 years.
