I have many memories of Gerald in my younger years, my grandparents lived close to Gerald's home in Fisher Branch, so we spent many days playing together growing up. Also many memories of playing hockey teams together. You left this life way too early Gerald. My condolences to the family, I am sure he will be missed. - Posted by: Jim Perchalski (Friend) on: May 02, 2015

Gerald custom combined for us for about 5 years and during that time kept us entertained with his quick wit and great sense of humour. He was quick to tease when we were broke down and he was circling us and was often the but of our jokes which he always laughed off. A kind and gentle man who was just rough enough around the edges to keep him interesting. He was never happier then when he was going the extra mile for you or when he delivered his annual pails of honey. He enjoyed his winters in Phoenix tremendously and when diagnosed took it head on saying you have to play with the cards you're dealt. Very courageous. A good friend may you rest in peace. - Posted by: Bernie van Kemenade (Friend and business associate ) on: May 02, 2015

My memory of Gerald is from when I was 18 years old...he cooked up some steaks...moose steaks! That meat was very delicious and tender. That was a fun weekend. Thank you Gerald. I will always remember you. - Posted by: Lucie Dandeneau (cousin) on: Apr 30, 2015
