Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryFRANKLIN STRANGER February 3, 1943 - April 29, 2015 It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of Franklin Stranger on Wednesday, April 29, 2015 at Percy E. Moore Hospital, Hodgson, Manitoba, at the age of 72 years. Franklin is survived by his brother Dennis, sisters, Annabelle Whittingham, Jeanette Asham, Ollie Stranger and Katherine Everett. Franklin was predeceased by his parents Solomon and Annabella, brothers Leslie, Frank, Melvin, Roderick, Earl, Dave, Freeman, Jim, Ernest and Winston, and sisters Betty Brause and Nellie May Sinclair. Franklin enjoyed riding his quad with all his buddies. He would go out to Norman's Ridge to feed his birds, and they were always waiting for him there. He enjoyed spending time with his special nephew Dave Stranger Jr. and his friends Brent and Louise, Jim-Bob Sinclair, Calvin Thomas, Clarence "Buck" Cameron and all his other buddies. Franklin worked on the farm here at home with his brothers. He fished at Great Slave Lake and he also worked at Hecla Island on the golf course for many years; first in the construction of the golf course, then maintenance of the course after it was opened. Special thank you to Peguis First Nation Chief and Council, Percy E. Moore Hospital doctors and staff, and especially to all of his nieces and nephews who loved him very much. Memorial Service in celebration of the life of Franklin Stranger will be Monday, May 4, 2015 at 1:00 p.m., at St. Matthew's Anglican Church, Peguis, Manitoba. FISHER FUNERAL HOME INC.
