Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryHELEN IRENE MOIR (nee RYLAND) It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Helen Moir on May 6, 2015, following a lengthy illness. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Greg (Barb) Hellofs and Patrick Moir (Kim); grandchildren Jennifer (Jeremi) Boroski and Chelsea (Steve) Schmalz; great-grandchildren Emily, Travis and Sophia Boroski; siblings Jim Ryland, Arnold (Linda) Ryland and Marvin (Sharon) Ryland; sister-in-law Betty-Mae Ryland; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Helen was predeceased by her parents Hazel and Hubert Ryland; and brother George Ryland. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, May 13, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Thomson "In the Park" Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Boulevard. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. Boniface Hospital Foundation (Dialysis Unit Fund), 1026-409 Taché Avenue, Winnipeg, MB R2H 2A6, or to a charity of your choice. Dear Greg and Patrick, I send heartfelt condolences on your dear mother's passing. It was only at Auntie Bea's funeral that I learned that your mom was so ill. Greg & Pat, we are so sorry to hear of your loss. Your mom always held a special place in my heart. I have numerous fond memories of her growing up, especially when my family and I movd to Winnipeg. Her infectious laugh is one that continues to ring in my head, it seems like yesterday that I last heard it. May you both allow the amazing memories you have of your mom live on forever.
