Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJEANNETTE ALICE BERNARDIN (née CLEMENT) June 22, 1926 - April 29, 2015 Peacefully at Concordia Hospital on Wednesday, April 29th, 2015, Mrs. Jeannette Bernardin of Winnipeg, Manitoba passed away at the age of 88 years. Mom was born in Detroit, Michigan, the first child to Michel and Hélène Clément. The family returned to Canada when she was a year old and lived at St. Pierre Jolys, MB and La Broquerie, Mb, where she attended school. She married Napoléon (Paul) Bernardin on September 28th, 1946 and settled in St. Eustache, MB. Mom was an active member of her church and community. In later years she moved to L'Accueil Colombien where she made many new friends who were enchanted by her smile. She leaves to cherish her memory, her children: Ken, Don, Ray (Lorraine), Shannon, Michel (Diane), Hélène (Bruce), daughter-in-law Kathy and Roger Chabot. She will be missed by her grandchildren: Justin (Allison), Shaunna, Dave, Danielle, Adam, Philippe (Kara), Jocelyne, Danielle, Neil, Marc, Brad and her great-grandchildren: Madison, Danika, Sam, Jack and Tyrese and her siblings: Estelle, Léo (Yvette) and Claudette. She will be remembered by many nieces, nephews and friends, including Angela and her lifelong friend Estelle Beaudette. She was predeceased by her loving husband Paul (December 16, 2000), her parents Michel and Hélène, her sisters Yolande and Cécile; son Dave, daughter Nicole and great-granddaughter Sarah. Nous t'aimons, continue à sourire et veille sur nous Funeral services will be held in the St. Eustache Roman Catholic Church on Friday, May 15, 2015. Eulogy and video tribute at 1:30 p.m. pm followed by Funeral Mass at 2:00 p.m. with Father John Legitimas and Father Paul Tinguely officiating. Interment will take place after Mass at the St. Eustache Parish Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to MS Society, 1465 Buffalo Place, Suite 100, Winnipeg, Manitoba, R3T 1L8. To Shannon its Diego from Medusa hair salon days I heard about your Mom today may 28 and I was shocked to hear. She was a woman who always put a smile on my face and always was good to be around with our thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time I will always cherish how she would open her house and entertain us during the holiday season and her wonderful wine. Jeanette (grandma), Doug, myself and Neil prayed the Rosary for a long time at The Fanning Centre. We would then go for lunch to an elegant place and she always enjoyed her glass of wine. She radiated Joy and Peace and I'm sure Heaven has inherited a Beautiful and Serene Angel. We love you Jeanette. Rest in Peace. Please Pray for Us.
