EVA KLYM It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of our beloved mother, baba, and most of all our best friend Eva Klym of Gonor, Manitoba. Eva leaves to mourn her son Don; daughter-in-law Jennifer, and her two grandsons Everest and Renan whom she adored; her sister Rose Klym; sister-in-law Ann Bazan, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her husband Edward in 2008; her parents Micheal and Maria; her five brothers Bill, Andrew, Steve, Peter and Mike, and her six sisters Sophia, Ann, Lena, Mary, Bernice and Doris. Eva was born and raised in Gonor, Manitoba. Eva, a gambler on love, went on a double date and met the love of her life Edward at a barn dance. After a whirlwind romance they tied the knot on July 21, 1962 and shared a 45 year marriage with their one and only child, Don Klym whom they cherished. Eva was more than a wife; she was Edward's soul mate. She stood by him through thick and thin. She worked various jobs, joined MTS and retired in 1991. Eva loved to read, collected many treasures, and traveled. Together the family have created many lasting memories with the shared love of travelling to many sunny destinations. Our sincere thanks to Dr. R. Lindenschmidt; the special bond and trust you had with Eva was comforting to our family and we are truly grateful for your guidance. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, May 13, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in the Gilbart Funeral Chapel, Selkirk, MB with Father Richard Ehrmantraut officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations in Eva's memory can be made to Ukrainian Orthodox Church of Gonor c/o Edward Pawluk, Box 19, Group 336, RR#3, Selkirk, MB R1A 2A8, or a charity of your choice. Our deepest condolences to Don, Jennifer, Everest and Renan. Eva was a very special aunt to Gary and I in our early years.
