TEJ SINGH GILL Sardar Tej Singh Gill, 80, passed away May 5, 2015 at Victoria General Hospital. He was the widower of Sardarni Harpal Kaur Gill. They shared 56 years of marriage together. Born in Sirsari, Fraidkot, India, he was the son of Sardar Jagir Singh Gill and Sardarni Dhan Kaur Gill. He graduated from Khalsa College Amritsar with a B.Sc. in science agriculture. He retired from the post Deputy Director of Agriculture. He was a devoted Sikh. He enjoyed reading, gardening and travelling. He will be remembered for his impeccable punctuality, big heart and determined personality. He is survived by his two children, Balwinder Singh Gill and Surinderpal Singh Gill, his six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by wife Sardarni Harpal Kaur Gill. The funeral service took place on Saturday, May 9, 2015. The Bhog ceremony will be held on Thursday, May 14, 2015 at Gurdwara Sikh Society, 1244 Mollard Road.
