ELIZABETH MCFEE On Thursday, May 14, 2015 at the Red River Place Personal Care Home, Elizabeth McFee, aged 96 years passed away. Elizabeth is survived by her children Esther, Bruce, Brian and Sam; grandchildren Greg, Derek, Jeff, Alicia, Michelle, Shane, Jason, Michael and Sharlene; great-grandchildren Crystal, Christopher, Drew, Shayla, Kadyn and Kira. She is also survived by her sisters Anne and Mary; brothers Helmut, Henry and other brothers. Elizabeth was predeceased by her sons Gary and Timothy; daughter Beatrice; grandson Zachary; husband Walter; brothers Victor and John as well as sister Martha. Elizabeth was born Ruckanau, Russia to Tina and David Janzen. She immigrated with her family to Canada at a very young age. She was raised in Manitoba. Elizabeth loved gardening, baking and her flowers. The family wishes to thank the nurses and staff at the Red River Place for the excellent care she received over the years. God looked around His garden, And found an empty space, He then looked down upon this earth, And saw your tired face. He put His arms around you, And lifted you to rest, God's garden must be beautiful, He only takes the best. He knew that you were suffering, He knew you were in pain, He knew the road was getting rough, And the hills were hard to climb, So He closed your weary eyelids, And whispered "Peace be thine." It broke our hearts to lose you, But you did not go alone, For part of us went with you, The day God called you home.
