Condolences & Memories (13 entries)

  • Jug was one of the nicest people I have ever met. Growing up he was never rude or harsh or thoughtless when others would have been. We weren't friends as adults but it felt nice to think of him on occasion. Just knowing he was out there being amazing made you feel good. I am so unbelievably sorry for your loss. The world lost someone really special. - Posted by: Matt Heron (childhood friend) on: May 20, 2015

  • I remember Jagjeet at the gurudwara and various events. This news is very sad, I pray for peace for his family, my thoughts and prayers to family and friends. - Posted by: Kernjeet Kaur Sandhu () on: May 20, 2015

  • I have known Jug for several years as we worked together at the same clinic. He was always kind and with a smile on his face. I have known his father for many years and he always spoke with pride about his son. My heart reaches out to his family who are mourning his loss and to the friends who will miss him. - Posted by: Jim Langridge (Friend) on: May 19, 2015

  • "Jagjit" as his name is self-explanatory, he had won the world with his vibrant and charming personality! We met him only a handful times and most of those times we saw him with his Dhol on family functions! And that's the way we are going to remember him. He has left a great big, un-repairable void in our hearts. Deepest condolences to family, friends and our while community! Rest in paradise buddy! Until we meet again on the other side. - Posted by: Kamal and Mandeep Saggi (Family Friends) on: May 19, 2015

  • I've known Jag and his family since he was born. He was always soft spoken and such a kind soul. He was the kind of guy that always made you smile when he entered the room. I used to tease Jag a lot at temple and joke around with him. He was always happy and had a great sense of humour. I feel remorseful that I will never be able to joke around with him again. He grew into a respectful man that anyone would be blessed to have as a friend. - Posted by: Grip Singh (Friend) on: May 19, 2015

  • Jag...I remember hearing the news of your birth...I saw you grow into a fine young man...you asked me how the boys were doing....you offered to help my mom when you had the chance to at Pan Am...you were an amazing young man! I will never forget the wonderful memories our families had together and most of all I will never forget your radiant smile! Until we see each other again my brother xoxo - Posted by: Gurdeep Badwal (Big sister) on: May 19, 2015

  • My family and I are deeply saddened by the news of Jagjeet's passing. Please accept our sincerest condolences. I will always remember us kids growing up in the same neighborhood. I remember him as an adorable child - he was bright, energetic, charming, and almost always wore a contagious smile. I hope that you are able to find some comfort in the community of friends and family that support you, grieve with you, and that can share special memories of him with you. Even though we no longer live in Winnipeg, please know that we support and pray for your family. - Posted by: Jastej Dhaliwal (Family friend) on: May 19, 2015

  • I met Jagjeet only a handful of times through mutual friends and at various events. The last time I saw Jagjeet was when I was riding my bike home from Polo Park area a few years ago. We said hello and he smiled that beautiful smile everyone knew him for. He was always struck me as a gentle person with a pure heart. I will always remember that moment. To his family and loved ones, please accept our deepest condolences. - Posted by: Prithpal Pachu (Acquaintance ) on: May 19, 2015

  • I worked with Jug for many years and was a neighbour when he was young. He was a wonderful, charming, happy young man, always had a kind word for friends and patients alike, witty, affectionate and polite. He was great at work, helpful and funny, I am so happy I saw him again when I visited in 2013. The world is a lesser place without him here. My heartfelt condolences to his entire family. - Posted by: Sheree Hodson (former workplace friend) on: May 19, 2015
