Condolences & Memories (3 entries)

  • Nan as I affectionately called her or " Flo " has left me with many memories from my childhood. From keeping her house meticulously clean often using a lucked finger bending over to dab at bread crumbs off the floor that I'd left behind from the sandwiches she'd always make. To the nicknames she never let us touch. Not to mention that same gold water glass on the right of her sink that everyone always seemed to use. I can't ever remember not seeing her with her ever present tissue in her sweater sleeve. Some of the best times I spent together with her was during sleepovers watching wrestling with her as she sat on the edge of the couch jumping up & down cheering for her " Boyfriend " (as she referred to him )Stone Cold Steve Austin. And my favorite thing that I remember was tormenting her, mussing her hair as she called it. I swear I was the only one that ever had the guts to do it. Always followed by her slapping at my hand saying, Quint quit it. " Stop mussing at my hair ". Nan you were a kind sole & often helped me out in my adult life be it with wisdom, money & most importantly unconditional love. Once I started seeing my now wife Stephanie, Nan welcomed her with open arms. She constantly would tell me what a sharp dresser Steph was & how lucky I was to land such a beautiful girl. Steph & I would often go visit her in her old apartment, take her to her hair appointments ( which was always a youthful dark brown somehow even into her Later years ). LoL She was an amazing woman & is in a better place now after Alzheimers stole her from us over the past few years. Go with grace Nan to finally be with Pop once again. You will be loved & cherished ever day now that you're gone as you were in life. All my love Quint. XOXO - Posted by: Quint Losky (Grandson) on: May 23, 2015

  • I know that you're at peace now. No more fear. You're reunited with Pop and will be the feisty lady that we all knew and loved. Love you Nan! Kelly and Emmett - Posted by: Kelly Fuerst (Grandaughter) on: May 23, 2015
