Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGILBERT FERDINAND REMY DALOZE August 22, 1929 - May 27, 2015 It is with great sadness to announce the passing of Gilbert on May 27, 2015 at the age of of 85. He was born August 22 1929 in Maurage, Belgium. He is survived by, sons Jean-Luc Daloze (Chantel), Georges Daloze (Cecile); grandchildren Sebastian, Christophe, Didier, Sandrine, Michael and Jeremy; great-grandchildren David, Bruno, Antonino, Esteban and Joyce. Our dad loved hunting and fishing. Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, May 30, 2015 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m at Mosaic Funeral Chapel, 1839 Inkster Blvd., Winnipeg, MB. The family would like to thank all the medical staff at St. Boniface General Hospital, Riverview Health Centre and Grace Hospice. Dad touched many lives with his unique character and carefree spirit. I moved beside Gilbert 11 yrs ago. He was one kind man. We would share and trade vegetables in our garden and he would tell us so many stories. He once brought us back chocolates from Germany. He would always bring us Deer meat and share his 'home brew' I always remember waking up one morning and there was Gilbert cutting down my tree lol!! He loved hunting and being outdoors and he would always tell us stories of the old days. One year he brought over his VHS collection and share with us his memories.
