SYLVIA JANE CONDON (nee TOLAND) October 4, 1928 - May 26, 2015 It is with deep sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Sylvia Condon on Tuesday, May 26, 2015. Sylvia was predeceased by her beloved husband Jack and her much loved grandson Jeffery. She will be lovingly remembered and missed by her daughters and sons-in-law Beverly and Bernie, Patricia and Bruce, her granddaughter Pamela (Randy) and great-grandchildren Kelsey (Mitch), Emily and Madelyn, as well as other family members and friends. Throughout her life, Sylvia was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She gave us all her unconditional love and support and showed it every way she could. If there was a need she would somehow know and do her best to help out. Up until the last couple of years, when she was less able to do certain things, she loved to bake for family and friends, enjoyed woodwork, crafts and gardening. In recent years she focused on her love of books, closely followed current events, enjoyed her favorite music and shared jokes with her friends at Donwood Manor. We will always remember and miss her loving ways and her sharp sense of humour. Special thanks to the nurses, the aids and the occupational therapists at Donwood Manor. We truly appreciate the care and attention provided to Sylvia over the past two years and especially the gentle care provided to her over the past several days as her health declined so quickly. Your sensitivity and support meant so much to her and to us. As per Sylvia's wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no service at this time.
