Condolences & Memories (2 entries)

  • Eleanor was a good friend to my mother Margaret Torgerson at the Waverley. Living across he hall from each other they enjoyed many evening cups of tea and chats. My condolences to her family and friends. She was a delightful lady. - Posted by: Marilyn Seguire (Friend) on: Jun 18, 2015

  • Miss Murray taught me Grade 8 Art - she was a great teacher, very caring, patient and helpful. 9 years later, Mrs. Higham was the organist at my wedding at Gordon King Memorial Church. She remembered me from school and I was touched by that. She played the pipe organ beautifully and was pleased that I had chosen something different for my processional; something a little more challenging for her than normal. My condolences go to her family and friends; she was a lovely person. - Posted by: Colleen Whibley McEwan (student) on: Jun 13, 2015
