ANTHONY JOHN GRIBBEN It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Anthony John Gribben at the young age of 27 by an asthma attack. Johnny was known by everyone as a kind and gentle soul with a big heart. His last moments alive were spent riding his bike and in good company, with a smile across his face. Johnny enjoyed playing sports starting with soccer from a young age to martial arts as an adult. He was very intelligent, spiritual and curious, always seeking life's answers, reading various books from philosophy to science. He was predeceased by his grandparents. He leaves behind his loving parents John and Millie, his older sisters Rita and Mellisa, as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins. Our family would like to extend our gratitude to the cadets and paramedics who did everything they could to revive him. A very special thank you to Zachary Uminski. You have been his best friend his whole life and you were there for him until the end. Words cannot express how much you mean to Johnny and our whole family. A celebration of Johnny's life will be held on Tuesday, June 16 at 10:00 a.m. at Thomson "In the Park" Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Boulevard. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a charity of your choice THOMSON "IN THE PARK" 204-925-1120

John and Millie we are both so saddened to hear of your sons passing. A parent should never outlive their child. We know this will be with you always and it will be a sorrow that only the two of you can know. Elviera and I know that young Johnny had the best parents and happiest childhood any young man could hope for. I know we've all lost a fine young man from our world. - Posted by: David and Elviera Mearon (Friend) on: Jun 16, 2015
