JEAN PERRAS Peacefully, on June 17, 2015, Jean Perras passed away at Tuxedo Villa Care Home at the age of 92. She is survived by her two sons, Ralph and Gerald (Janis), her daughter Diane, five grandchildren and a great-granddaughter. She will be reunited with her husband, Gilles, the love of her life, who passed away in 1996. Mom was born and raised in Winnipeg where she resided her entire life. She lived a very active life which was full of fun, laughter and friendship. She slowed down in the past few years but still kept her keen sense of humour and caring attitude for all. Her joy in life was being with her family and friends. At the age of 16, Mom was introduced to cottage life. Countless memories surround her life at the family cabin where she cooked gourmet meals, entertained and was the "camp coach". Most of her life she was an active member of St. John Brebeuf Parish and spent countless hours working with the Women's Auxiliary. Jean's wishes were to have cremation take place and to have a private family interment, which will be held at a future date.
