  • My favorite days to be at the Winnipeg General Hospital during my Psychiatric Nursing "affiliation" there, were the days when I could chat with Auntie Joan. Such a dear sweet woman. I will miss our phone calls very much. I send my love and condolences to Mickie, Darlene, Brenda and Bernice and their families as well as all her loving nieces and nephews and families. Rest in peace dear Auntie Joan - Posted by: Mary Anne (Bieganski) Gates (Niece) on: Jun 30, 2015

  • I shall always remember Aunt Joan as a loving and caring person. Even after I moved away she kept in touch by card or phone call. She was a person who really cared about others and took interest in all that you did. Her home was always welcoming and I shall always carry those visits in my heart. Aunt Joan was a beauty on the inside and out! Truly a graceful and elegant English Rose! - Posted by: Barbara Ptak (Niece) on: Jun 30, 2015
