Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryTERRENCE (TERRY) INGLEHART Terry passed away on Wednesday, July 1, 2015 at the age of 82 years. He was predeceased by his parents Clayton and Doris (Hoban) Inglehart. Terry is survived by his sister MaryLou King and was the uncle to Cathy, Sandie, Darren (Gail), Danny (Colleen) and Jennifer (Paul), eight great-nephews and nieces and two great-great-nephews and his close friend Marion. Terry worked for over 35 years for the City of Winnipeg as a meter reader and in maintenance. As a young man he enjoyed biking, especially to Birds Hill Park, skiing and most sports. He loved to travel and shared many stories about the places in Canada he had been and especially enjoyed his trip overseas to tour Europe. As time went on he had his struggles but overcame them and was very proud of his 30 plus years of sobriety and his recent reuniting with his family. He loved spending the holidays with all of them, talking (a love of his), eating (homemade food), looking at old photos and playing Lego with the little ones. He became an avid golfer with memberships at three courses in Winnipeg, golfing and walking (most times) 18 holes four times a week with a 15 handicap at the age of 80. Just this year cutting down to three games a week and only nine holes with a cart. He always said he felt like he was 40 when he was on the course. The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses MICU of Health Sciences Centre for their great care. Graveside service will be held on Monday, July 13, 2015 at 11:30 a.m. at Elmwood Cemetery.
