FAYE GAIR Sadly, after a long hard year of trying to recover from an illness, we regret to announce the sudden but peaceful passing of our dear sister, aunt, great-aunt and great-great-aunt, Faye Joy Gair, on July 3, 2015, at the age of 65, at Seven Oaks Hospital, with family at her side. Faye was born on November 10, 1949 in Winnipeg, Manitoba, the last child of the late Elsie (Merrison) and Fred Gair, whom she had missed dearly over the years, along with her brother Gary and her most recent loss in 2013, of her brother-in-law Dave. Faye will be deeply missed by her brother Mel (Peggy); sisters, Carolynne and Arlene; nephew Paul (Sheila); nieces, Cindy, Kari, Teresa (Stephen), Leigh (Al), Lisa, Susan (Andy), Tracy, Elizabeth (Bryce); great-nephews, Scott (Tara), Jason, Konrad (Jenny), Stuart, Wyatt; great-nieces, Emily and Leah; great-great-nephew Brycen; great-great-nieces, Mackenzie and Kennedy, along with other family members and our good family friend Linda. Faye loved family gatherings and going out for meals and visits with close friends and family. Faye had a kind heart and wanted to be liked by all, which showed by all the wonderful things she did. Faye had worked for the last 15 years at The Salvation Army - Golden West Centennial Lodge, until she became ill just over a year ago and was not able to return. The family would like to thank Seven Oaks Hospital for keeping Faye comfortable in the final hours of her life. Cremation has taken place. As per her request, there will be a private service. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Siloam Mission, 300 Princess Street, Winnipeg, MB R3B 1M3, or to Mackenzie Gair "Hope" at any Crosstown Civic Credit Union (monetary) or by mail to Attention: Nancy Dubicki, Crosstown Civic Credit Union Ltd., Corporate Office, 171 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB R3C 1M4. Fly high sweet angel until we meet again. Always loved. Always remembered. Desjardins 233-4949 1-888-233-4949 www.desjardinsfuneralchapel.ca

  • I was a childhood neighbour of Faye's on Radford street. That was elementary school days. We lived two doors down and Faye and I played together often. So sorry to hear of her passing. - Posted by: Joan nielson (Childhood friend) on: Dec 04, 2019
