My thoughts and prayers are with Her Honour the Honourable Janice C. Filmon, C.M., O.M. and His Honour the Honourable Gary A. Filmon, P.C., O.C., O.M. on the passing of the cousin of my former high school principal Mr. Brian Burdy. When I went to Las Vegas in 2007, I happened to be on the same return flight as Jeff and Dana Burdey and their foster son, and Dana's mom Evelyn when I went with a former Educational Assistant who had worked with Tyler. His special education teacher, who happened to be my family friend, would start battle cancer the very next year, the year that the Challenge for Life debuted. After Leona passed away from Ovarian Cancer in 2009 I still continued to walk the Challenge for Life up until the time when Janice Filmon was Board Chair of CancerCare Manitoba Foundation. - Posted by: Philip (Former student of his cousin and his cousin's friend Linda) on: Sep 30, 2021

I was saddened to hear of Wally's passing. I cannot remember a time when Wally and Bob did not have a moment to cheer a win or lament over a loss of the Jets and Bombers. All this while they were gettin my vehicles back on the road. My heartfelt condolences to you his family. I trust the many good memories will help you through this difficult time. God Bless. - Posted by: Allan Hayward (old customer) on: Jul 22, 2015
