ROSE ANN BOBROWICH I am saddened to announce the sudden passing of my sister Rose Ann on Thursday, July 2, 2015, at her residence at Villa Cabrini in Osborne Village. Rose Ann was predeceased by her parents, Stanley and Anne Bobrowich, infant brother Kenneth, and brother David. She is survived by her brother Charlie, his wife Joanne, their children and grandchildren, and sister-in-law Myrna, her children, grandchildren and great- grandchildren. Rose Ann was born in Gimli, MB. and grew up in Winnipeg Beach. She attended Winnipeg Beach School and Gimli High School where she completed a secretarial course. She worked for Walsh, McKay, Barristers and Solicitors until she was stricken early in life with disabling rheumatoid arthritis. She was later confined to a wheelchair. In 2000 she moved to Villa Cabrini and thanks to The Society of Manitobans with Disabilities she received an electric wheelchair that set her free. She was active in the choir at the Villa and was very happy to be able do her own shopping, and shop she did. She made several good friends there as well and she greatly enjoyed the special celebrations and birthday parties. An internment of Rose Ann's ashes will take place at the Holy Rosary Cemetery, west of Winnipeg Beach, on Friday, August 7, 2015, at 11:00 a.m. If anyone wishes donations in her memory can be made to the Society of Manitobans with Disabilities, 825 Sherbrook St., Wpg., MB, R3A 1M5. Enjoy your "walk" with the Angels! Gilbart Funeral Home, Gimli in care of arrangements. www.gilbartfuneralhome.com
