I read of Kay's passing with much sadness this morning. Kay worked for our family for years many decades ago and we got to know and meet her children and later their spouses Noella & Ron. I attended her husband Alex's funeral 33 years ago. Sadly we lost contact and never picked it up again, something I will always regret. Kay was a hard working woman who on occasion babysat me and my siblings while our parents went on vacation. I'm not sure how she managed the all of us, but she did with a soft hand, humour and a lot of patience. I will never forget her holding her head and shouting "trouble", "trouble" in Ukrainian (I don't know how to spell the word) whenever I got into trouble - which was often. I hope her later years in life were filled with pleasure from her family and friends. I know she was proud of her children and grandchildren. A well deserved long life that has left an impression on our whole family. My condolences to the whole family. - Posted by: Joel Kay (Old Family Friend) on: Aug 22, 2015
