Along with numerous nieces and nephews in Winnipeg and Italy. She was predeceased by her mother Concetta and father Vincenzo, mother-in-law Elisabetta, father-in-law Guglielmo, brother Guido, and brothers-in-law Bernardo, Gaetano, Saverio and Carmine. Giulia was born on March 28, 1935 in Cosenza Italy where she met and married her husband Eugenio in 1957. In 1958 they welcomed their first child (Jenny) and soon after left their home land and moved to Fort William, Ontario. They remained there for a few years and in 1963 returned to Italy. In 1964 after welcoming their second child (Vince), they immigrated to Canada and settled in Winnipeg. In 1967 they completed their family with the arrival of their third child (Lisa). Giulia lived her life for her children and would do anything for them. She loved Sunday dinners with the family where her famous home cooked food would fill the table week after week. She enjoyed crochet and made lovely bedspreads. Giulia had a big heart and genuinely touched the lives of everyone she met. While working in the clothing industry and the hospital she established long lasting friendships that she cherished. She also enjoyed espresso and great conversations with her friends, commari's and neighbours. A big thank you to the staff on the fifth floor at the Victoria General Hospital, in particular Ian and Albert for their compassion and great care of our mother. A special thank you to Father Sam Argenziano for visiting mom and bringing her some peace. Flowers are gratefully declined, if friends so desire, donations may be made in Giulia's memory to the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba. "You look back on memories you forgot you had,and at times you'll smile even though it hurts so bad. Your mother is a special woman and no one can take her place. You'll find a piece of mind when you remember her smiling face." My sincerest sympathies to the Family. - Posted by: Shelley Strauss (Friends of the Family (Vince)) on: Aug 27, 2015

Although I was not able to speak with Giulia all that often due to my lack of Italian, as a child and teenager growing up in the same nieghborhood as the Costantino's, I always found her very cheerful and always offering me something to eat. Usually place I remember her was in the "basement kitchen" and don't forget the annual wine making! Such nice memories. My sincerest sympathies to the Family. - Posted by: Brian Moroz (Friends of the Family (Vince)) on: Aug 26, 2015
