Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMAURICE PAINCHAUD September 13, 1935 - August 24, 2015 Peacefully at the Portage General Hospital, Mr. Maurice Painchaud of Elie, Manitoba passed away at the age of 79 years. He leaves to mourn his loving wife Rita (née Poirier); four children, Louise (Patrick) Lachance, Doris (Jack) Davis, Hélène (Roger) Bouchard and Paul (Sharron) Painchaud; nine grandchildren, Robert (Michele), Michelle (Ryan), Richard (Cynthia), Sean (Jamie), Dale (Mellissa), Myles (Melissa), Jamie, Evan and Samantha; and 10 great-grandchildren, Natalie, Matthew, Sarah, Dominic, Rachel, William, Caiden, Kierra, Jadyce and Lincoln. He also leaves to mourn four brothers, Emile (Florence), Noel (Doris), Gilles (Aline) and Lorrain (Elva); one sister-in-law Juliette Painchaud; and numerous in-laws, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents, Raymond Painchaud and Annette (née Morissette); one brother Henri Painchaud, and by one sister Raymonde (Jules) Ménard. Father Armand Le Gal will celebrate the Funeral Mass in the Elie Blessed Sacrament Church on Thursday, August 27, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. with the eulogy prior to Mass. Family interment will follow the lunch in the Fannystelle Parish Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Box 67, Fannystelle, MB R0G 0P0.
