Condolences & Memories (3 entries)

  • Dear Diane and family We haven't been together in such a long time now!Even though it is a sad occasion, it is also a good opportunity to connect once again. Glenn just sent me the news about Raynes and John and I want to send you our condolences and our hope that life has been treating you well. How I remember Raynes is those long ago years on the farm when Dad would bring us out for a visit and we would get a chance to ride the horses. Those were lovely times. Thinking of you now. All the best. - Posted by: Patricia Laufersweiler Flannagan (cousin) on: Aug 31, 2015

  • Raynes was always joking and laughing with Debbie while I had the joy of looking out for him on occasion. He had great moments of kindness and knew how to express himself with great colour. Debbie visited him 2 weeks ago and he was happy in his new setting. We are glad his final days were happy. - Posted by: Debbie Bidgood and John Pinney (Friends and neighbours) on: Aug 29, 2015

  • Raynes, you were quite the character, we had many conversations about different things. I never once pretended to understand you when I couldn't, you were as patient with me as I was with you! I'm glad your suffering is over! I'll never forget the big burly man that first came to the hospital. I know that the last few years weren't easy ones but you never gave up, you were a fighter even if it wasn't easy! I missed you the last couple of years, till we meet again Raynes, RIP. love your favorite nurses aide, Erin - Posted by: Erin Nixon (Friend & health care aide) on: Aug 29, 2015
