Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLEON BEERNAERTS Peacefully, at the Foyer Notre Dame, with his family by his side, on Wednesday, September 2, 2015, Mr. Leon Beernaerts of Swan Lake, Manitoba, passed away at the age of 86 years. He leaves to mourn four children, Bob (Colette) Beernaerts, Darlene (Mike) Mauws, Perry (Janice) Beernaerts and Terra (Dave) Van Deynze; 11 grandchildren, Shannon (Donavin), Ian (Angela), Philip (Jennafer), Shaunlee, Brenna, Brittany, Braeden, Morgan, Tyler, Kyle and Alex; and six great-grandchildren, Haedyn, Rowan, Farrah, Easton, Emerson and Kayden. He also leaves to mourn one brother Remi (Nancy) Beernaerts; one brother-in-law Marcel Vermeire and numerous in-laws, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Leon was predeceased by his wife Marguerite in 2013; one sister Rachel Vermeire; and by one sister-in-law Enid Pouteau. With respect for his wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held at the Swan Lake Parish Cemetery.
