Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryPAULETTE MILDRED BOYKO August 11, 1946 - September 5, 2015 Peacefully, with her family at her side, Paulette Boyko, age 69 years, of East Selkirk, MB passed away at Selkirk and District General Hospital on September 5, 2015. Paulette was born and raised in East Selkirk, living on her parents' farm, went to school at Lilydale and in Selkirk. She worked as a nanny for a short period of time and as a Custodian at Happy Thought School for 19 years, retiring in 2009. She enjoyed pencil drawing, needlework and quilt making, sewing, gardening, dancing, playing cards, getting together for family activities and enjoying coffee with friends. She liked her cooking and baking, and participating with fellow parishioners at Blessed Virgin Mary Ukrainian Catholic Church making perogies and assisting with church functions. The Young & Restless was her favourite TV show. She was a family orientated individual and even though she never married was always devoted to her family. She will be missed by her family: Lorraine (Maurice) Yurkiw, Stephanie (Bob) Saramaga, Milton (Darlene) Boyko, Sylvia (Ron) Smoley and Marlene Boyko, as well by many nieces and nephews and their children. She was predeceased by her parents Paul and Eva Boyko, niece and nephew. As per her wishes, a private Memorial Service will be held and interment will follow at a later date. Heavenly Father, please walk through their home and take away all worries, sadness and pain in all their hearts. Please watch over and heal their wounds and all their aches. Many we love have passed away too soon,death comes with little warning but can be soothed with hugs and kind words. Remember you all are not alone at this sorrowful time. We wiil say goodbye to Pauletteand we wiil gather togetherto say our respects but most importantly to comfort each other to give strength to those in need now especially to you the bereaved family. We rememberour loved ones often in a thousand different ways, in the morning,in the evening, a song, a place and even in a smell, in memory we will alls remember them.Now Lord give rest to your servant Paulette, bless her whom you have chosen and received, her memory shall be from generation to generation.
