Words are so inadequate at a time like this. There is so little one can say but my heart goes out to all who knew Leslie. All I can say is how sorry I am for the loss of an amazing woman. She will be missed by many. Sending a big hug out to everyone that knew her. May memories be a source of comfort at this time. I met Leslie at a cancer support group and in the little time that we had together I found her to be a kind, caring and compassionate woman. This is truly terrible news. It is always so devastating when you lose someone you love! With Heartfelt sympathies, Marilyn - Posted by: Marilyn Dupont (cancer support group friend) on: Sep 18, 2015

I was very close to Malcolm Lucy, Leslie's son in high school and got to know her through Malcolm. Leslie was a remarkable woman. She was extremely kind to all and a would always listen to anybody and everybody that would enter in her home. She was hospitable and opened her home to many events that us high school students would have especially regarding celebrating the end of the school year or another successful musical theatre production. I had the privilege of singing at her 25th wedding anniversary celebration with Malcolm where she renewed her vows. I wish I had kept in closer contact with this remarkable woman. All prayers go out to her family and close friends at this time. You are missed Leslie! - Posted by: Ruth Reimer (Friend) on: Sep 18, 2015

I served with Leslie on the Family Selection committee for Habitat for Humanity. She was such a dignified lady and seemed to conduct her life carefully and thoroughly. - Posted by: Pearl Toews (co-volunteer) on: Sep 16, 2015
