ELIZABETH KRAHN (nee NICKEL) Elizabeth Krahn, age 88 years of Altona, Manitoba passed away on Wednesday, September 23, 2015 at her residence. She is survived by her children Bette (Ben) Krahn, Judy Krahn (Tom Baker), Lori Penner, Connie (John) Wiebe, Rick (Anne) Krahn, Ed (Nancy) Krahn, her daughter-in-law Olga Krahn, and their families. She was predeceased by her husband Frank C. Krahn in 1988 and her son Bill Krahn in 1999. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 29, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at the Altona Sommerfeld Mennonite Church. Interment will follow at the Froese Family Cemetery. Viewing will be at Wiebe Funeral Home Altona on Saturday and Sunday, September 26 and 27 from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., Monday, September 28 from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and at the church prior to the service. Donations in memory of Elizabeth may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba or to the Manitoba Lung Association. Dear Father when I pass away, perhaps there won't be time to pray. For death may come so suddenly, I'll not have time to call on Thee. So precious Lord while yet I live, be Thou my Saviour, cleanse, forgive.
