Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDORA MAUREEN WALKER (KETTLER) On Sunday, September 27, 2015 Maureen passed away at Riverview with family by her side. Maureen will be forever missed by her daughter Linnet (Ron), son Corey (Michelle), grandchildren Benjamin and Kaela, and stepchildren Joanna, Anthony and Matthew. Maureen was predeceased by her husband Bill and both parents Adolph and Elizabeth. Maureen is survived by her brother David, and numerous nieces and nephews Maureen was born in 1930 in Winnipeg where she was raised. Maureen married Bill in 1958 and shortly after moved to Red Rock, Ontario. In 1961 Maureen and Bill returned to Winnipeg where Maureen worked for a variety of companies, the longest being Eaton's where she held a variety of positions. Upon retirement Maureen volunteered for the White Cross Guild at the Health Sciences Centre for 18 years. Maureen's greatest passions were her grandchildren and her beloved dogs. In January 1952 Maureen joined the Air Force Auxiliary Fighter Control Operator Group where she held the rank of Air Women First Class. Maureen served continuously for one year and five months. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, October 2, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Riverview Health Centre, One Morley Ave., Winnipeg, MB. Thank you to staff on CD1 who cared for Mom.
