• Just heard about Val from my ex-wife...the two of them grew up together, two blocks apart in the west side of Detroit, Michigan. We went to her wedding, met Gene and all their wonderful kids. Then they moved to Winnipeg and we started losing track... So sorry to hear that! • Gene, my heartfelt condolences to you, your children and grandchildren. Although it may not seem that way, in time, sorrow is not as prevalent and good, comforting memories prevail. I am certain you must have many good memories. I am sorry I could not attend but I have a very bad cold and thought it more advisable to stay away rather than have someone get sick.
