He enjoyed being with family, especially the grandchildren, teasing them as often as he could. Joe was so proud of how well his kids were doing in life and what they had accomplished. He also enjoyed going to his shop to putter on his latest project. He was always willing to help whenever he could. All the kids got a helping hand with many projects big or small. Joe was well known in the trucking industry for his mechanical skills after working for 50 years at Favorite Transport as a Mechanic and Fleet Manager before retiring in 2012. I am so sorry for your loss and my condolences. I can only say if he has been so patient and helpful with all that his kids projects as he was at Favorite dealing with new and old drivers its definitely a huge loss to your family. He was so free in lending a hand or showing us the way. He was the backbone of Favorite transport thru all the years and kept those trucks moving. Again sorry for your loss. - Posted by: Don Martens (Past employee) on: Oct 08, 2015

I have many fond memories as a young child anticipating Joseph visiting our home, so that we could sit on his lap and adorn him in many homemade necklaces for hours. Despite having to deal with two kids on his lap for what must have felt like ages, he never complained once and seemed to enjoy our company. Later on in life we stayed in touch when we both worked at Favorite Transport, and he was always willing to make time to help out in any way he could. My deepest sympathies go out to Pat and the family, you will always be remembered, Joe. - Posted by: Diane Larocque (Friend) on: Oct 07, 2015

My heart is aching for you Pat and also your family. There are no words that can express what you are all going through. All that is left of this wonderful man JOE are memories. Think of all the good times you shared, laugh, cry, and it's okey to be angry. I think of the time we were talking and you said to me, you need a man by the name of Joe, they are the best. But you can't have my Joe. He will always and forever be your Joe, your one and only true love. - Posted by: Jeanette kirby (Friend) on: Oct 05, 2015
