Condolences & Memories (8 entries)

  • Great sadness filled my heart when I heard of the sudden passing of my old friend and roomy Wally. I will forever cherish the fond memories we shared of our younger days playing shuffleboard and baseball. As life took us down different paths we stayed in touch, although regrettably not enough. Rest in peace, I'll miss you PARCH! - Posted by: Terry Saranchuk (Friend) on: Oct 19, 2015

  • Henrietta, I am very sorry to hear of the loss of you brother. Our most sincere condolences for the whole family. Rest in peace Wally. - Posted by: Irena & Les Wikowski (co-worker at Boeing) on: Oct 12, 2015

  • My sincerest sympathy to all the family. I remember Wally fondly from our High School Days; most recently our yearly get togethers when Brenda comes back home and bantering back and forth on social media. He was a generous, kind hearted, caring man. A true friend. There are no words at a time like this that can ease your sorrow but may it help to know that there are others that share your love of your brother. Rest in Peace Wally, you are missed. - Posted by: Sheree Burke (Friend) on: Oct 09, 2015

  • Going to miss discussing bad calls by refs., his constant wise cracks to Brenda over the Leafs, and his cat videos. Met Wally when he was a young fellow, he turned into a very well liked man, who will be sadly missed. - Posted by: Dixie Foley-Marchuk (Friend) on: Oct 08, 2015

  • Major Statz was an integral part of the CCO, he will be greatly missed! Last course together was this past summer at the DDC, we had a lot of laughs. I will always remember his kindness, sense of humour and infectious smile. My warmest regards for the family in their time of sorrow. - Posted by: Irene Wangler (Army Cadets) on: Oct 08, 2015

  • I will miss Wally and his visits. He used to stop by our store (Marway Militaria) and pick up items for his collection and the cadets. We mounted his medals for him a few times, as it seemed just as he had them perfect, he would be issued another one! He was always upbeat, and friendly. We will miss him. - Posted by: Jaime Cline (Friend) on: Oct 08, 2015

  • R.I.P. Wally knowing Sparky, Princess and Marmalade are safe with me and will always be looked after. I will miss you so much my dear friend. Love always Doris - Posted by: Doris Roemer (Friend) on: Oct 08, 2015
