JEANNOT ST. VINCENT It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Jeannot St-Vincent on Wednesday, October 7, 2015, at St. Boniface Hospital, at the age of 58 years. Jeannot was born on March 30, 1957 in Morris, Manitoba, son of Joseph St-Vincent and Cécile Nadeau. Jeannot will be sorely missed by his spouse of 19 years, Rita Picton and his "boys" Gilles (Nicole), Joël (Rachelle) and Serge. He will also be missed by his two precious grandbabies Francis (peanut) and his baby girl Stéphanie, his numerous brothers and sisters: Marguerite (Pierre), Roger (Ida), Gilbert (Carolynne), Gérald (Denise), Florence, Gabriel (Pat), Jacqueline (Wilfrid), Nicole (George), Jacques (Gisèle), Suzanne (George), numerous nieces and nephews, Rita's family, co-workers and friends. He was predeceased by his father, mother and little sister Rosie. He was employed at Actionmarguerite at Centre Taché for numerous years. Jeannot was a lover of all kinds of music be it Cajun, Acadian, French, country and he ALWAYS had music playing in the background. He spent many earlier years coaching minor hockey and touched the lives of many. A private family memorial service will be held at the Coutu Funeral Home, 680 Archibald Street, on Tuesday, October 13, 2015, followed by a memorial reception celebrating Jeannot's life for family and friends from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Coutu Funeral Home. Interment will be at a later date at the family's request. Habs jerseys are encouraged! The family wishes to thank the ER Dept. as well as the doctors, nurses and staff on 5E, medicine at St. Boniface General Hospital for the care and compassion given to Jeannot. Ses nombreux frères et soeurs: Marguerite (Pierre), Roger (Ida), Gilbert (Carolynne), Gérald (Denise), Florence, Gabriel (Pat), Jacqueline (Wilfrid), Nicole (George), Jacques (Gisèle), Suzanne (George), plusieurs neveux et nièces, la famille de Rita, ses collègues et ses amis le manquerons aussi. Il était précédé par son père, sa mère et sa petite soeur Rosie. Jeannot était employé à ActionMarguerite, au Centre Taché, pendant plusieurs années. Jeannot aimait une variété de genres de musique, tel que le cajun, l'acadien, le français et le country. Il avait toujours de la musique qui jouait. Lors de son jeune temps, Jeannot a touché la vie de plusieurs personnes en entraînant le hockey mineur. Une célébration privée pour la famille aura lieu le 13 octobre 2015 au Salon Mortuaire Coutu au 680, rue Archibald. Une réception avec goûter aura lieu de 15h à 17h pour la famille et ami(e)s. L'enterrement aura lieu à une date ultérieure à la requête de la famille. Seulement les chandails des Habs seront permis d'entrée. La famille désire remercier le département d'urgence et le personnel de 5E médicine à l'Hôpital St-Boniface.
