Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGEORGE JOHN MULLER 1922 - 2015 With sadness, we announce the passing of George John Muller on Saturday, October 10, 2015, after a brief illness. George was born in Westendorp, Gelderland, Holland in 1922. In 1953, after surviving the Second World War, he and his best friend George Nyman immigrated to Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. In Winnipeg, George met his future wife Henrietta (DeHaan) in 1960 and they went on to celebrate 54 years of marriage. After working at various jobs, George completed a 30-year career with Winnipeg Transit. In retirement, George enjoyed 30 more years of health, life, travel, friends and family. George is survived by sons Bryan, John and Wayne (Candace); grandchildren and great-grandchildren Amanda, Callie (Tony), Garrett, Jessica, Jaimie, Nick and Aubree. Immediate family surrounded George in his final days. The family wishes to extend a sincere thank-you to the staff of Concordia Hospital and Riverview Health Centre palliative care staff. At George's request, there will be no formal service.
