Left to cherish his memory are his wife Monica; mother Suzanne; siblings Lise and Yves, as well as his niece Mikaelle. Luc was predeceased by his father Roger and brother Pierre. In accordance to Luc's wishes, no formal service will be held. In lieu of flowers, if so desired a donation can be made in Luc's memory to a charity of your choice. Alors Luc, mon prof, mon ami depuis 24 ans...quoi dire quand un grand homme, d'une grande passion pour la vie, un être sage d'une grande humanité, avec un gros coeur et un grand sourire nous quitte beaucoup trop vite...nous sommes laissés avec un grand vide remplie que par les échos de ta voix, de tes conseils sages et de ton rire contagieux... Mon premier cour d'histoire comme nouvelle étudiante au CUSB en 1992 était aussi le premier cours d'histoire à Luc comme prof au CU et je me souviens très bien d'avoir pensé qu'il n'était pas beaucoup plus vieux que moi et de m'avoir demandée 'Est-il vraiment assez vieux pour être prof?' Il l'était et quel prof extraordinaire! Un prof qui a su transmettre sa passion pour l'histoire canadienne à une jeune de Saint-Claude oui, mais encore de plus, un homme gentille et bon vivant qui est devenu pour moi un très bon ami qui a toujours été là pour moi...Je vais m'ennuyer de nos visites annuelles à l'université Luc mais en attendant de te revoir un jour, je te dis merci et à la prochaine...Bon voyage mon ami. - Posted by: Pauline Gauthier (Amie et ancienne étudiante) on: Nov 13, 2015
