  • I worked with Bonnie on a number of campaigns. She was a tenacious, and a fierce advocate for the NDP and the candidates she worked with. Once, in a Concordia campaign, Bonnie saw a non-NDP sign on Talbot Ave. She was deeply offended. After all, Concordia was NDP to the core, she said. She immediately went out with a bunch of signs and came back having put up 25 of them down Talbot, including one at the original offending house, where she persuaded the homeowner to switch to Gary Doer and the NDP. Such was Bonnie's nature. I will miss her loyalty, sense of humour and deep commitment to social justice. My condolences to Bonnie's family. - Posted by: Darlene Dziewit (Friend) on: Oct 21, 2015
