LALITABEN MORAR
Date of Passing: Oct 19, 2015
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLALITABEN MORAR OM SHANTI It is with deepest sorrow that we must announce the passing of Mrs. Lalitaben Morar on October 19, 2015 at the age of 89. She was born in India (Masa Bhagad). At an early age she moved thousands of miles with her husband Mr. Lallubhai Vithal Morar to Mombasa (East Africa) via a small ship, where she settled and worked very hard as a Seamstress. Lalitaben was a loving mother to her five daughters, five sons-in-law, eleven grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. She loved her family with open arms and with all her heart. In 1969 she moved to Bristol, England, where her husband passed away, and in 1973 she came to Vancouver, Canada with her family to join her brother Mr. Hargovind (Bhikhubhai) Pranjivan and his wife. In 1976, she moved to Winnipeg and lived a very independent life. She was a very dedicated Brahma Kumari and opened her home to the BK family students, where they all got together for Murly classes and meditation. Her pride and joy was the BK Badge she wore on her White Sari every morning. We would like to express our sincere gratitude to all those involved at St. Boniface Hospital, especially the team on the 4th and 6th floor and also at Poseidon Care Centre staff on the 5th floor. Your compassionate care made this difficult time more bearable. Memorial Service will be held at Thomson "In the Park" Funeral Home at 1291 McGillivray Boulevard on Friday, October 23, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. THOMSON "IN THE PARK" 204-925-1120 Condolences may be sent to www.thomsoninthepark.com

She was a "Devi" "Mataji" and that is why she passed away on such auspicious day All her rituals also were done on auspicious days. She was a Loving caring beautiful independent and always a giving person. Feel saddened that she never accepted my constant plea to her to move in with me. Her constant falls and lack of treatment led her to poor health and loss of independence. Her last days of life were spent in hospital and finally short time in nursing home. Unfortunately she passed away alone with no one beside her, if right information would have been given then it would have been different. SHE IS NOW AT PEACE with her loving husband, daughter Hansa , sisters plus brother. Love you always mother from your loving daughters Manjula and Pushpa - Posted by: Pushpa Bhagat (Daughter) on: Oct 28, 2015
