JEAN COLTER Peacefully, with her daughter at her bedside Ormi "Jean" Colter passed away on Tuesday October 20, 2015. Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday, October 24, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in the Mosaic Funeral Chapel, 1006 Nairn Ave., Winnipeg MB. Interment will take place in the Crystal City Cemetery at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 25, 2015. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the St. Boniface Palliative Care Unit. My deepest sympathy to Donna Jean and her family on the loss of Auntie Jean (as I knew her). She was a loving human being and I especially enjoyed the time when Auntie Jean, Annette Homenick (my mother and Jean's friend) and I spent a day shopping in Honolulu Hawaii while vacationing there in 1978. Not sure what Dad and Tony did but we sure had a great Ladies' Day out. I would like to share this quote with Jean's family: Jean, has not died, she has merely gone away, to a better place, free of pain and suffering. We will see her again some day." Rest in Peace.
