My sincere condolences go out to all of the family of Claire Marcotte. She was loved very much by all of us in Ontario. Claire was a truly kind, compassionate and faithful person. She was a "Saint on Earth" as Claude said and she always made time to let us know she cared. She was the first person to take me to McDonald's when it opened, she was a lot of fun when we tried, I mean tried ..to teach her to ride a bike. Claire always welcomed us in her home, she had a compassionate ear, and she loved to write letters and cards some of which I still have. I have always had Claire in my heart. My prayers go out for Claire and her family. - Posted by: Gloria Molto ( LeBlanc ) (Niece... Reg and Grace's daughter) on: Oct 27, 2015

To all of Claire's family and friends: Claire was such a gentle and loving lady. I have very fond memories of Claire mostly from when I was a child and living in Guelph. I remember swimming at their apartment building, sleeping over, having family dinners, the ring she bought me for my first communion. I just adored her. Claire also helped Jeff adjust to his hearing loss. She never stopped caring and tge time and distance hasn't faded my affection for her. We have all been blessed to have Claire's life touch ours. - Posted by: Annette Dubois (niece) on: Oct 27, 2015

I knew Claire for a few short years when we both worked in Kenora. She was a kind and loving friend who made my stay there much happier for having met her. Open hearted and generous with her heart, despite her difficulties she made everyone around her comfortable with themselves. My sincere condolences to her loving family. - Posted by: Ruth Kamenev (friend) on: Oct 27, 2015
