Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDAVID MICHAEL IRELAND With heavy hearts, David, our beloved son, father, brother, nephew and uncle was called to rest on Monday, October 26, 2015. He will be dearly missed by his mother Elsie Ireland; sister Debbie (Tony), brother Wayne, sister-in-law Jackie, sister Lori (Adrian) numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews and his best buddy, Candace Sabel. David also leaves behind his son, Michael Ireland. He was predeceased by his father, Allan (Butch) Ireland. David had a passion in his life for hockey, darts, fishing, and bonfires with the family and friends. He received numerous trophies for darts and 180 perfect score awards. He attended Keyano College to achieve his certificate as a in heavy equipment operator and worked with Mulder Construction for the past 10 years. He had a witty sense of humor and always entertained everyone even when he was ill and in pain. The love of his life in the last couple years was a beautiful blonde named Cinnamon, his dog! Special thanks to the nurses and staff at the Gimli Community Health Centre, Dr. Rhoma, Dr. R.C. Patel and all the Cancercare specialists, for all the support and care of our dear David. A celebration of his life will be held on Tuesday, November 3, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at the Royal Canadian Legion, Gimli, MB. david and I grew up in gimli. He was a friend and easy to get along with. His dad butch coached ourhockey team for years. A good man as well.
