MONICA ELIZABETH ANNE PAYMENT July 18, 1951 - October 31, 2015 Peacefully, after a lengthy illness, Monica passed away at Seven Oaks Hospital. She was predeceased by her husband Wayne and father Howard. Surviving is her daughter Nicole; Wayne's daughters Tracy and Julie; mother Gunhild; grandchildren Skylar, Turner, and Evan; brothers, sisters, nieces, and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, November 7, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Thomson "In the Park" Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Boulevard, Winnipeg, Manitoba. A private family interment will be held at a later date. Thank you to the staff at CancerCare Manitoba, Lung Clinic and Seven Oaks Hospital. A special thank you to Domitala for all her help and support. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to CancerCare Manitoba, 675 McDermot Avenue, Winnipeg, Manitoba R3E 0V9, or a charity of your choice. I was extremely difficult to deal with... I was always acting up & getting out of control... But there were only 3 people who were there for me the most & that was my friend Matt Boffin, (May God Bless Him & May God Rest His Soul), my loving mother & Gamma Monica... I will never forget her! Monica was one of many kids that grew up me on Bannerman Ave block many years ago to mention. I always remembered her with us in the group of kids growing up back in the day. I am saddened to hear of Monica's passing. Her memory will always be present in those who knew and loved her. When I think of her I see her smiling and laughing, so many memories of childhood - Christmas celebrations, Payment family nights (playing cards, 31 to be exact) at Aunt Gunny & Uncle Howard's house, those memories of her will always be cherished.
