PAUL LEWCO June 26, 1932 - November 2, 2015 It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Paul Harry Lewco. He is survived by his loving wife Josephine (nee Hecko) of 52 years; daughters Juanita Sokoliwski (Chris), Bernadette Hacault (Launi) and Sabrina Lewco Bazin (Matthew Goudie); seven grandchildren, Calida, Sawyer and Jolena, Cody and Nyla, Wyatt and Laine; brothers Stephen (Mary), George (Shirley) and John (Lyndis); brothers-in-law, Ed Czuczwara and Brian White; sister-in-law Barbara Hecko and a large extended family. He was predeceased by his parents Roman and Marie; in-laws Stephen and Alice Heck; brother William; sister Pauline; sister-in-law Marlene White; nephews Gregory, Johnathon and William Jr. and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Paul was born in Brunkild, MB and when he was a young child they moved to the family farm in Sperling, MB. In his adult years, he spent winters working in a bush camp in Red Lake, ON and summers hauling gravel in Mafeking, Fisher Branch and Killarney, MB. December 1963 he began working at C.P. Rail Weston Shops, where he was employed until his retirement in February 1994. We would like to thank Dr. T. Panaskevich, CancerCare staff, Dr. P. Czaykowski and Denise Klassen and that of the Selkirk and District Hospital, the Palliative Care staff at Riverview Health Centre, as well as friends and neighbors for their care and support over the years. Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, November 7, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Gilbart Funeral Home, 309 Eveline St., Selkirk, MB. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to CancerCare Manitoba.   • My sincerest condolences to Josephine, Juanita, Bernadette, Sabrina and all the extended family. Paul was my Godfather and I will forever remember him as a kind, patient and understanding man. He sat me on his knee and made me laugh when no one else could. I have the best memories of the greatest Godfather. May he Rest in Eternal Peace.   • Dear Josephine and girls , It saddens me that I couldn't be with you and all the family today. This is when I hate being so far away.
